Do we qualify for an MGB Grant?

  1. We have been a registered tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code for at least five (5) years.
  2. We have a yearly operating budget of at least $200,000.
  3. We address one or more of the stated mission objectives of MGB:
    1. Mental Health
    2. Children
    3. Education
    4. Food Security
  4. We are not a 'faith-based organization' as defined as a charitable organization or nonprofit who uses faith, religion, race, or orientation to determine recipients of the organization or nonprofit's services. Furthermore, no funds received by a MGB grant would be used for religious purposes.
  5. We operate primarily within the confines of South Palm Beach County (Hypoluxo Road south to the Broward County Line).
  6. We have not been the recipient of a previous MGB of SPBC Grant in the amount equal to or greater than $100,000 in the previous two years.
